WEDDING STATIONERY

I have to be honest and say that I have completed my daughters wedding stationery for her wedding in August 2005 but this is what started on the road to card making. After taking samples of the invitations to show friends and work colleagues I was asked to make Valentine cards in the same design which I did but in red. They sold like hot cakes.

I did have a lot of help from my daughter but between us we made 100 day invitations, 80 evening invitations and 120 Order of Service. We also worked on the favour bags to hold the confetti which were given to each female at the service and the table plan, menus and table numbers.

The Sydney Opera House invitations were made for daughters friend who was her bridesmaid. They are getting married at Sydney Opera House and wanted the invitations to depict this. The insert also has the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a background image.

This is the design we made for my daughter's wedding stationery which was also used for the Order of Service.

This is white slim card with hand stitched square in silver thread with beads.

This design was decided after discussions with the bride and groom as they are getting married at Sydney Opera House. The insert also has Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background

This design was made up because mistletoe figured in the theme and the couple's wedding date was 9th December. It was difficult not to make it look like a Christmas card.

The wording on the outside and inside was in claret red to match the paper on the front
